Terms & Conditions

Booking Policy:

  • Advance Payment:
    • A 20% deposit of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking. Additionally, the full payment for air/train tickets is required upfront.
    • Upon receiving the advance payment, we will proceed with hotel reservations, ticket bookings, and other necessary arrangements. You will be kept updated throughout the process.
    • After initial arrangements are confirmed, a status update will be sent, and an additional 30% of the tour cost is due at this stage.
    • The remaining 50% of the tour cost should be paid 30 days prior to your arrival in India.
    • Prices are subject to foreign exchange rate fluctuations and will be adjusted accordingly at the time of final payment.
    • For peak season (December 20 to January 5) and special luxury train journeys, full payment or specific percentages may be required in advance.

Amendment Policy:

  • Changes to confirmed arrangements are generally discouraged. However, if necessary, we will accommodate changes subject to availability and applicable amendment/administration fees.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Tours:
    • Cancellations must be submitted in writing and are effective upon receipt.
    • 90 days or more prior to arrival: 50% refund of the tour cost deposit.
    • 90 to 60 days prior to arrival: 30% refund of the tour cost deposit.
    • 60 to 45 days prior to arrival: 20% refund of the tour cost deposit.
    • Less than 45 days prior to arrival: No refund.
  • Luxury Train Journeys:
    • 75 days or more prior to departure: 10% cancellation fee.
    • 74 to 25 days prior to departure: 25% cancellation fee.
    • Less than 25 days prior to departure: 100% cancellation fee.
  • Flight Tickets:
    • Non-refundable; name and date changes are subject to airline policies.
  • Wildlife Safaris:
    • Non-refundable; date changes are treated as cancellations.

Payment Options:

  • Advance and Balance Payments:
    • Secure online payment gateways.
    • Payment authorization via credit card.
    • Bank transfers.
  • Online Payments:
    • Credit card transactions are secure, with no retention of card information.
    • Payments are processed through a secure gateway, with direct bank authorization.
  • Offline Payments:
    • Credit card payments can be made via authorization, allowing us to charge your card.
  • Bank Transfers:
    • Direct bank remittances to our account (details provided upon request).
  • Balance Payments:
    • Due one week prior to tour start via credit card or bank transfer.
    • Authorization payments available for itineraries exceeding five days and two-day stays in Delhi.

Additional Terms:

  • Users availing services from Engrossing India Tours are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. Our liabilities are limited to the scope of this agreement.
  • Engrossing India Tours acts as a booking agent for third-party service providers and is not liable for the quality of services provided.
  • In the event of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, weather issues, strikes, insolvency), Engrossing India Tours reserves the right to alter schedules or bookings for the safety and well-being of users.

Governing Law:

  • Engrossing India Tours disclaims implied warranties imposed by other jurisdictions and is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India.
